Jackaroo & Bug produces a different perspective on traditional tableware with designs that are created to bring theatre, adventure and joy to everyday living.
While providing fun, imaginative designs in vibrant colours the range also provides a traditional table setting: English fine bone china, screened printed decals from hand painted acrylic ink paintings, made and decorated in Stoke-on-Trent.
Fine Bone China
Fine Bone China has the greatest strength and resilience of all ceramics, the way it is made also allows for greater chip resistance and durability.
Obviously like all ceramic tableware it can be broken but despite some people’s perception that it is fragile and therefore not a good choice of tableware, it is quite the opposite!
When creating Jackaroo & Bug I was conscious of the mother in me and making sure that the products and designs I produced were suitable for everyday use, practical but with a premium feel and loved by children and their parents.
